I was recently going to cancel my rural internet due to poor service and performance. the lady persuaded me to try the new TD-LTE 6 with an advertised download speed of 6mbps. i have been testing it every day for almost a month a different times of the day and the best i can get so far is 3.68mbps. i keep my computer in top running shape and defrag , etc. do you think if enough of us complain something can be done- strength in numbers? with their new building it appears they are not hurting.

We as well live in the country. We are with xplornet awful speeds. I will be looking for another provider it isn't worth what we pay

had xplornet few years and hated it so witched when the contract was over.

What company do you have for internet living outside the city? Cost etc. Thanks

If it's Netset TD-LTE6 provides UP tp 6Mbps. We use the T-LTE12 which is usually giving downloads of 10-11Mbps for @$90 a month. Best rural internet reception we've ever had.

They say UP TO because they are not guaranteeing you that speed all the time, but you should still get it some of the time. To do an accurate test you shouldn't test using wireless, you should be hard wired to the router without anything else connected.  
 
Keep calling, that's pretty much all you can do. Hopefully eventually they will send out a competent technician.

I have Netset LTE 6 and just tested mine on wifi after reading this post and I got 5.56. I have had 6.12 before when testing. I have also had 3.2. But the majority of the time I am around 5.

We had the same problem with speed and we called them about slow speed, so they came out and changed the antenna to point to a different tower now speed is always good
