Hello. I'd like some advice on the best place to park downtown for an extended time.  
I am taking a course on Rosser and 9street, and need to park for seven hours during the day.  
10am to 5pm.  
Does the Town Centre parking lot charge for parking now?  
Any other suggestions will be appreciated.

The Town Centre has always charged for parking. It is 3 hours at a time. So assuming you get a lunch break, you can leave the parkade and pay your two dollars and turn around and go back in for another three hours. Or park on the street in the afternoon as you can pay for two hours and then parking is free after 4pm

was free at one time but was only for Town Centre clients. They would ticket.

Ride a city bus. every bus stops at 8th and Rosser. In 2017 the price is $1.35 per ride.

I live out of Brandon, so I won't be taking the bus. I was hoping someone would know of a parking lot within walking distance that I can park my car all day without worrying about moving it, or running out to plug meters.

What about the public parking lot down by 12th or 13th on Pacific ave? It makes for a short walk to where your course is, but may be worth checking out!

I would actually go to the town center and see if you can pay monthly (like an employee) and see if you can buy a pass for there.

Public lot is your best bet.  
 
The Town Center does do monthly, on the roof, but when I worked down there I believe it was $60ish per month and spots were limited. Lots of lots downtown rent their spots at about $45 (some little more some little less) but usually have huge wait lists as when spots come up it's first come first served and we all know parking downtown it the pits!  
 
Good Luck, the public lot is free if you can get a space, so worth a bit of a walk.

On pacific straight across from bus road ( 8th ) decent place just watch your surroundings and park farther from the bridge side(west side of lot) especially if after dusk.
