Skating oval conditions?

    Skating oval conditions?

    Just wondering, does anyone know the condition of the skating oval with the current warmer weather? Would love to go for a skate today but hoping not to arrive and find it closed (we live out of town). Or better yet, is there anywhere online where the conditions are reported so I can check on it myself?

    Went on Friday evening and it was great! Much more enjoyable with the warmer temps

    skating rink in Douglas is closed for now because the ice has become soft. The ice at the oval might be getting that way as well. So I'd use caution if skating in it. Curling in Douglas has also been cancelled for the time being.
