So our vehicle was ransacked friday night. They took my daughter's ipod (yes, I know I should have taken it into the house). they also took my other daughter's pencil case (go figure).  
The question I have is this: is there any way to know if someone tries to down load music onto it, does it have a special i.d. or anything? I am a real dummy when it comes to electronics and such.  
My daughter (who is 8) asked me why people do things like this. I told her that unfortunately there are people in this world who are evil and selfish and don't care about anyone but themselves.  
Also, the pencil case is a zebra print one with a pink zipper and has my daughter's name in it. I know it would probably be an invasion of privacy, but if there are any school staff out there who see a pencil case like this maybe you could check the inside to see if the name matches the kid. Anyways, lesson learned...do not leave valuables in the car!!
