Between 11 and 12 noon near Mac's, I had help by a very friendly, young fellow.
I came home to mounds of snow and drifts in my yard and driveway. I climbed into my yard and eventually made it to my snow blower. I cleared my driveway as best as I could with my snowblower but understandably the city had not yet gotten rid of the huge, solid ridge across my driveway. My snowblower could not get through it.
I really needed (wanted) to get my car in the driveway to unload my things so they would not freeze. I saw a guy working right close on my back lane with a loader. I wandered up to him waving my wallet (I had plenty of cash) and told him I was fairly desperate to get into my driveway and had cash (whatever price he wated) if he could please get rid of that huge solid hump when he cold spare a few minutes.
He said ok, and that he would take a look. He got rid of the hump really soon and when he finished he honked, waved, and drove away with me running behind chasing him waving my wallet.
I wish this kind soul a Happy 2017!
