On October 19, 2017, we lost my friend Stephen Groves to cancer. Steve was a brilliant artist who lived here in Brandon and in the months since his passing, I have spoken to many people who wondered where they could get some of his art. Unfortunately, Steve had very, very few published works. Paralyzing self-doubt and addiction issues kept him from the success he and his talent deserved.  
 
One of the works that a few people in Brandon remember him for is the comic strip "The Grove" which was a regular feature in the Wheat City Journal many years ago.  
 
Over the past few months, I have, with the support and cooperation of his family, worked to put together a Kickstarter for a book of Steve's art. This Kickstarter went live on March 1.  
 
I will be promoting it heavily this month, as I know that Steve's art deserves to be seen by a much wider audience. However, I am afraid that I might miss connecting with some people who would be interested in participating.
