My wife and I run the Grim Acres Scare Away Cancer Halloween haunt that has helped raise over $64,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society in the last seven years.
This year, we will be attempting to break the current world record for Most Heads Shaved in One Hour By One Person on Oct 6th. The event will be called the Brave The Shave to Conquer Cancer World Record Event, and we need 76 people who are willing to have their heads shaved for a good cause. All participants are asked to raise pledges, and all donations will be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society to help support their bladder cancer research and treatment programs. For those who have longer hair they wish to donate after the head shave,we are looking at options that will allow it to be donated to organizations which provide wigs for people undergoing cancer treatments.
