Hi,  
 
I am planning to start a Delivery Business.  
Brandon to Winnipeg and vice versa.  
What niche in your opinion would be successful or the people of Brandon needed the most?  
Either its food, Parcel Delivery, IKEA or Costco products  
or anything else..

With Purolater as an only option and greyhound gone we found it extremely difficult to ship lab samples to Winnipeg/Calgary in a timely matter.

I'm having a hard time envisioning what the IKEA or Costco part would look like. Can you elaborate? Are you doing personal shopping too then?  
 
I'm wondering because I have had stuff shipped from those places, but there are many things "in store" that can't be/won't be shipped (and as far as I know there's no personal shopping at either of those places, such as Click and Collect or something similar). Also, Costco has a lot of items that are seasonal in nature, and you sometimes don't know what you're going to find until you get there!

I have said for a long time that it would be great to be able to get Ikea delivered to Brandon!

I am mentioning IKEA or Costco because either of the two is not in the Westman area.  
I am also in the brainstorming process so need Brandonites help to clear my mind.

Which sort of Lab samples  
Are these lab samples need special storage to deliver?  
P.S. I have a Van in which I intended to deliver.

You can order online for pickup at the store. You select a 4 hour window for pickup, and can designate someone else to pick it up.  
 
They will pick things from the store and have it ready for pickup. There is a $5 charge.

I am a little confused about the service you are going to offer. I have ordered online from Ikea and Costco and they have been delivered to my door with no problem and in a timely manner.  
Yes, if you are going to go to Costco and pick up items...have I got a grocery list for you (LOL).

Maybe talk to businesses that sell parts. Often they get it delivered from a Winnipeg company stockroom to Brandon.  
 
Any place that has Winnipeg and Brandon stores.

I didn't know they did that now. I'll have to keep that in mind!

Maybe the OP needs to start a "Costco Personal Shopper" business!

I order from Costco once a month and it’s free shipping over $75.00

you would have more business if you did pickups at Border Services. Although, I can understand how tricky that might just be.

Can you please elaborate why the pickups at Border Services might be tricky?

I assume Oryx is referring to the fact that Border Services is in the US. Crossing the border with someone else’s packages could get pretty dicey real quick.  
 
On top of that, there can be lots of taxes, duties, etc, and the fact that you are doing it commercially is likely a whole other ball game.

Maybe you could deliver people too. I often read on here a lot of people looking for rides to Wpg.

and how much money people willing to pay for the trip to Winnipeg?

There are multiple Facebook groups for Brandon to advertise through. eBrandon is one of them. Considering Brandon Air Shuttle is charging $54 one way to the airport I wouldn't pay any more than that. They have on peak season 4 trips in which makes it convenient for not being too early.
