What do you think...are Garage Sales becoming a thing of the past?? Is the trend now becoming to search ebrandon classifieds or the buy and sell sites?? I see so much left over from garage sales and am left wondering if technology has replaced driving around to sales.

I am finding that the prices are really expensive now days. I remember (back in the day) garage sales being something where you'd get some really good bargains and good deals. Now I can buy stuff at a department store for the same price (and less effort) as the majority of the items at these garage sales. It's unfortunate, but I hardly go to any anymore, for the simple fact that it is usually way overpriced, and thus a waste of my time rummaging around. It seems like most people are seeing garage sales as way to try and make some decent profit (which honestly they aren't) rather than the idea of getting rid of stuff. Simply overpriced.
