Anyone tried this product has it helped you ?

We used it years ago, either the same product or another that functions the same (I can't recall what the brand name was).  
 
It definately works, better in small spaces than larger ones. You have to have somewhere for it to drip, which depending on your arrangement can be tricky at times.  
 
If you are looking at using it in a basement or something similar, a dehumidifier will likely be a better bet. They will last for years (vs. days or weeks) and you can run a hose so it drain directly into your floor drain.
