Learning to speak Ojibway

I have a friend looking to teach his children the ojibway language and he does not know where he might find someone who might teach it. Any idea's? He is willing to learn and then teach his children.

I know learning from someone would be best, but there is a lot of resources online, I am sure there is a lot more out there than my 2 minute google search, but YouTube has a good one I found, my link isn't working though!! *Arrrg* technology...

Link still isn't working, but if you search "lets start Ojibwe - Lesson 2, Hello Goodbye" there is a lesson that I saw that is pretty cool!

The good think is you and your kids could learn together if you watch the videos together! I think it's a great resource!

I'm use online resources to teach my kids another( 3rd)language . It works great! Hope that helps

Try to Friendship Centre. Maybe they have language lessons, or can connect your friend with a teacher or even an elder that is willing to teach.

There are university level classes at Brandon University. Maybe the dad could sign up and bring his homework back to his kids everyone could learn it together and have others to practice with!
