    Can anyone recommend a lawyer to do a basic will at reasonable rate?! TIA

    Not sure what he charges but Jarrett Kehler is very thorough. If your will is entirely hand written by yourself it is seen as a legal and valid document.

    it is much cheaper and super easy to grab a legal will kit from HR Block. If you have access to a computer its a fabulous option for under $100. Ask at the mall location they are great at explaining it.

    Stacey Senkbeil at Meighan and Haddad is awesome. I highly recommend her. She’ll also explain the difference between a professional one and “kit”.

    Another option may be able to purchase "Last Will and Testiment" at Christies. Was legal when I purchased one a few years ago. No idea of the price now. Worth a try. If you go this way, may be wise to get more than on witness.  
    Good luck on what ever u decide.
