Thinking of doing one suggestions  
what would I put items in ( container )?

How long do you plan to wait? You can pretty well put anything in there. I’d suggest a newspaper from Jan 1st 2020 if you plan to start it then. If you have children suggest to them to put one of their toys or something special to them. Random knick knacks and such. Whatever you think would be cool to open up in 20 years or so and see. If you plan to bury it put them in something solid and well sealed so it won’t degrade or get contaminated.
