I would like to know if anyone, through personal experience, can recommend a tattoo shop/artist in Brandon that will touch up a tattoo on the side of my finger, I had one done in Brandon just before covid hit and when I went back to the same shop to have it touched up recently I was told (somewhat rudely) that they don't do finger tattoos. I realize most artists won't do them, but I do know the are done, as I see them quite regularly (and the artist that did my recent one still works at that shop). It doesn't bother me to pay the minimum charge for a tiny tattoo (which will work out to probably $400 per hour). On a side note, I do have an upcoming appointment with a shop that MIGHT do it, but the artist needs to see it first. I did have a ring done there 15 years ago, the shop was great then and the tattoo still looks good today. The artist is not there now, so the personal policies may have changed. I would like to have someone lined up that WILL do it if this artist will not for some reason. Thanks!

Why would they refuse to do finger tattoos? What the difference than anywhere else on your body? I find that strange.

A lot of shops usually won’t do finger tattoos cause they don’t last. It’s the same reason a lot of tattoo artists won’t do hand tattoos unless you are already covered.

Just an update. I got what I wanted done by Mickey at Adam's Body Art on 18th, and I can't say enough good things about this shop. Absolute top notch customer service, immaculately clean shop, and very professional! If you're thinking about a first tattoo or just want somewhere that you'll be treated right, I highly recommend Adam's. If you happen to enjoy poor customer service for some reason, try somewar else.

I had two of my tattoos done at Adam's, and went there specifically because I had heard how good their customer service was. I am a 'mature' woman, and even tho I already had a couple of tattoos, I was afraid of being treated like an 'old lady', or being made to feel silly with what I was wanting tattoo'd. None of that happened, and even tho the artists were younger, heavily tattoo'd/ pierced, and 'cooler' than me.... they were very friendly, attentive, and respectful. I was happy with both the service and the tattoos I had done.  
Neither of the artists I went to are at Adam's anymore. I have had one tattoo since, and went to a different shop. I am extremely happy with that tattoo as well - the artist was great, altho the front desk staff were not as friendly or helpful.
