I know know what Oprah means when she says "people should not be allowed to chew gum" especially in public. I was recently at a restaurant here in Brandon and a lady, not a young girl (which shouldn't make a difference) stood in line and chomped and snapped her gum in such a loud and discusting matter that we actually left and went elsewhere to eat! I guess people just don't realize how discusting it actually is. Looking around, it doesn't matter where you go or how old the person is....they just chomp and smack away...it find it completely rude. People need to have more manners...especially when out in public. I was not surprised to read the article about the lady walking her dogs today. Good thing it wasn't me or it would not have been pretty!
