One of the recent messages in a blog caused me to come up with this topic. Questions are: Do you tip? If you do, what is it based on? If you don't tip, why don't you? What are VALID reasons for tipping and valid reasons for not tipping? Try and be a little respectful of the waitresses and waiters out there.  
 
Personally, I tip regardless of the service. Usually, 10 % if the service sucked. Reason being is that SOMETIMES people have a bad day...baby up all night, exams, relative passing, seperation...you name it...anything could have influenced their attitude. I'm pretty lenient that way. However, if I go there several times and the service from that individual is terrible, I won't tip and discuss with a manager or owner. If service is sort of good to great, I'll drop 15 to 20%. After all, they did have to bring me everything I asked for.
