I would like to pitch a tent somewhere thats not overwhelmed with RV's. Any ideas??

Sprucewoods bay 3 if you're looking for a basic site usually nice n quiet during the week.

The 'old' Lake Adam campground. You still check in and pay at the main campground office, then it's a bit south on Hwy #10. No services (only pit toilets), so never any RV's there!

Max, Adam or Willam lakes are good in the south

Not sure if there is enough grass or even a fire pit. But someone in a van obviously thinks it's a great place. It's been camping out back for many months.

The campground is small and has tenting spaces. It’s just on a first come, first serve system and you leave your money at the front registration. It’s quiet, has washrooms and showers. Super close to clear lake and there is a farmers market every weekend. If you want to go to pretty, quiet beach area, PM me and I can give directions.

It is worth a look. It is mainly RV and trailers but I saw lots of cool spots for tents. Their web site offers a great picture tour that is pretty much up to date. The storyline from 2007 to now with the new owners is also there. We took a walking tour last week. You can see the old curran park sites to the east. While the current site uses most of it also there is certainly expansion to the south. We enjoyed the walk.
