Traveling west on the TCH today from Brandon into Alberta we noticed that the amount of holiday type travellers is somewhat diminished from years past. I know gas has gone up A LOT, but I'm still surprised to see the lack of traffic.
Has anyone else noticed this...am I one of the few that decided I wasn't going to let fuel prices screw with my summer travel plans? What are your thoughts on this?
One thing I will say, traffic in BC, where it's not 4 lane will be a pleasant change from other years if this trend continues.
