So today I found out that starting in May that Westjet is changing its daily flight time for weekdays to a less than convenient flight time. Incoming lands at 5:30 PM then departs at 6:10. I use this service regularly for work and that is a step backwards. Probably options for connections that time of night are limited too so anyone using this service now will more than likely have to get a hotel and carry on the next day. That is what I am facing. Anyone else frustrated? May be further ahead to drive to Winnipeg. I haven't scoped that option out yet.

I am so disappointed in WestJet! The last two times flying to Calgary, we were delayed leaving Brandon. So, any connections are missed!  
From now on we will fly from Winnipeg, but not with WestJet.

But coming home flights connections might work. When they stopped having a consistent evening flight you were guaranteed a layover coming home.

I booked a Saturday flight in August. The new flight time is on weekends too.  
 
It works OK for me and my connection luckily.

I just did a search and not everyday was the 6pm flight. There were days with 1pm flights too

I wondered bc my aunt is coming in in May and I couldn’t figure out her flight lands at5:30 in MY  
I like the earlier ones though
