Spruce woods is a good go to if you have a young family. You can bike/walk or drive down to a well maintained beach area. They also have mini golf and a small food/ ice cream shop. If you enjoy hiking there are a lot of trails nearby. Adam lake is usually a fairly quite more private camping experience but still have access to a beach and a nice playground for the kids, many trails in this area as well. If you want to make a drive the rubbery ducky resort in warran Manitoba has enough fun things to do to keep your family busy all day, the cost may seem a little high but it i:ncludes all activities except bumper boats, including pool/ hot tub, mini golf, horse shoes, chip and putt course. I’d your looking for weekday camping you can get in most campgrounds on short notice. Weekends are usually booked in spring but they come up as people are always changing there plans and canceling
