So where would you go to escape?

I've really had it with this prairie winter! So many people seem to be taking off at this time of the year to warmer locations. But what is an unseasoned traveller to do? Other than the requisite trip to DisneyWorld with the kids, we really don't travel.
Where should a novice traveller go?
