OK, I'm pretty stressed right now. My boyfriend and I are going to Vegas on Mar. 27, and my passport application has been denied because apparently my birth certificate is "invalid." I won't get into how ridiculous that is, since I had a passport when I was younger and my birth certificate was certainly "valid" back then. My question is, does anyone have any tips for how to speed up this process? At this point, my plan is to call Stats Can, pay through the nose and get a new birth cert ASAP (hopefully!) and then re-apply for my passport. Any words of wisdom? I'm really, really stressed about this. I don't want to be the reason we can't go on our trip!
