We are going on a cruise out of Orlando in November and will be flying down from Bismarck on Allegiant Air. I've been watching the prices and they seem to go down a bit every week.  
 
For people with experience booking with them, when do you find is the best time to book? I'm not a spontaneous person and like to have things planned well in advance, but will waiting until October give me the best price? I see the same flight (same days of the week) are $120 less per person in September (5 weeks out). I'm anxious to book but will beat myself up if/when I see the price go down (especially with our weak dollar, I want to save as much as I can).  
 
Also, do their flights seem to fly full? I'd also hate to wait to long and not have availability (there are 3 of us - but not being able to sit together is not the end of the world).

I can't say I saw any pattern in their sales, so I can't help that way. I have never seen an Allegiant flight not packed full. Depending on the credit card you use, some of them have a deal where you can book it and you get the lower price if it goes down - I have no experience with that but I know people who do that with some success.

When we travel with them we have better luck booking in advance then last minute. It seems to go up quite a bit a week or two before your flight date.

I would pull the trigger on any pop in the Canadian dollar. Even if it's a penny or two. We are in no mans land right now with oil prices and lower prices are possible making your dollar worth less. We booked our flights for our cruise months ago when the dollar was better, but paid the remainder of the cruise last night as I fear further drops in the Canadian dollar. Oh, one more thing, there are no cruise ports in Orlando. You are sailing out of Port Canaveral which is almost an hours drive from Orlando. Have a good trip!

My bad again. You are not actually flying into Orlando either with Alegiant, you are flying into Sanford which if memory serves me correctly it a touch closer to Port Canaveral... I think.
