Driving to Winnipeg

We're driving to Winnipeg tomorrow morning on TransCanada. Need to get to Health Science Centre.

Just wondering if there's much delay due to the construction and, if there are delays, how long they are.

I haven't been to Winnipeg down Hwy # 1 for a while, but if you have an appointment or specific time you need to be in Winnipeg for I would suggest HWY # 2. I went that way last weekend and other than slow down's through some of the towns there is no construction.

Carman to Elie...

The only construction that I've run into was from Carman to Elie. They have reduced the speed limit to 80 km for the turn across into two lane traffic but then it's up to 100 again right away. You just can't pass in this area so if you have a slow driver in front of you, you're out of luck!

Yes unfortunately, many people still seem to think the speed limit is 80. It only takes 1 person and everyone will line up behind them.
