    Booking vacation for Christmas/New Years

    Just wondering what everyone's opinion is on how far in advance to book a vacation for the Christmas/New Years period? Wanting something tropical over that break. Does that time period sell out fast? Is it cheaper to book far in advance? I don't imagine there would be many seat sales in that time. Any thoughts or advice from people that travel during that time regularly?

    depends on exactly what you want and your time frame for going, i have seen some awesome sales for tropical vacations the week before christmas but if you are set on going on exact dates, place or resort book now or by the fall so you know exactly what you are doing
