I have always driven small cars but after having my daughter I found that her stroller took up most of my trunk and I hated piling groceries in the backseat around her. So we upgraded to a 7 passenger Dodge Journey for the extra seating and storage. The back 2 seats will be folded down most of the time leaving plenty of space in the back but how do I prevent the aforementioned stroller from flying around back there? I'm loving the extra space but find I still have concerns about groceries and other stored items coming over her seat in an accident. Am I overthinking this or what does everyone else do? Thanks!

Use Storage tote boxes with lids for groceries if it's a concern.

As stated above, use tote boxes with lids and maybe use stretch tie down straps to hold the stroller in place. Just a suggestion.

You can put in a pet barrier that will keep most big items from coming forward in case of an accident. There are also nets you can buy that can go over items and clip to the car hooks in the back. I would think you would get tired of putting the net over everything every time. The pet barrier you can buy at Canadian Tire.

There are tie downs points in the area also comes with a net pouch thing. As stated a pet barrier is also great idea
