Does anyone know how the bugs have been lately around Adam Lake? Also in a previous thread people were talking about fishing in the area. Someone mentioned a close-by lake where kids could have great non-stop perch action. Anyone remember which lake that was. I have a 9 year old grandson and we are looking for shore fishing. Thanks.

I can't comment on fishing, but the bugs are TERRIBLE! Load up with a bug hat and lots of mosquito spray!

We were there this past weekend, a few mosquitos and flies, no real problem.

For the perch, just a bobber and small hook? What do you put on the hook? Is there a dock you can fish from or just find an opening along the shoreline? Thanks again.
