Found this nice little video with a brief history of the Prince Edward Hotel.

Though it was gone before I was born, I've always been intrigued by the Prince Eddy - which apparently had furniture (or maybe just items?) coming it's way aboard the Titanic, or so I've heard.

Cool video. We watched the implosion from the roof of the Lawson Lodge building. I was only in the Prince Eddie once for a Brandon Sun paper boy meeting.  
When me and my buddies were 15 we had one friend who could pass for 18 and get us beer from the Red Caboose Bar, the building at the back.

where did some of the remnants from the hotel go?  
 
Furnitures, fixtures, stone work etc? I know that not all of it was salvaged of course, but is the chandelier inside the City Hall, from the hotel for instance?

local filmmaker Shaun Cameron’s MTS TV Stories From Home documentary, Tales from the Eddy  
 
Local filmamker Shaun Cameron had done a excellent and extensive documentary on the Prince Eddy's History for MTS. Interviewing several past employees and providing a much more of its history then the Carleton University one.  
 
I believe it is still on MTS/Bell free on- demand service. Perhaps Shawn can provide a link to it if on Vimeo or Youtube? Although he's in the running for his ward as councillor for the next few days.

Brandon's Steamy Past & Prairie Titanic documentaries.  
 
Both of these documentaries provide a little more history of the Prince Eddy due to their connection with being a CN station (Brandon's Steamy Past) and the Prairie Titanic Story connects the Prince Eddy to the tragic sinking of the Titanic in 1912.
