Hi all,  
I really hope someone else out there can remember this. Somewhere between 1990 and 1993, I swear there was a record store across from the Strand theatre on 10th St. It wasn't a chain, just a private store. Really it seemed like just a room with boxes full of vinyl records for sale. I can't remember a name or anything. In fact, I only remember it because I bought an album there.  
If anyone else remembers this store, please let me know. It's been bugging me for a while now.

I remember it as well. The guy who ran it was Wayne (? wanna say Mountain?) I remember chatting with him many times, he knew his stuff. He was friends with the drummer from the Ozark Mountain Daredevils, as I recall. The place might have been called The Country Music Store.

the country music centre on 10th was operated by Wayne , but the owners were from Winnipeg , they had the country music centre on Selkirk ave. in Winnipeg , used to go there and buy my 45's there when is was a kid

A great store; I bought a lot of my New Wave, Ska and Punk LP's from there back in the day.
