was the first citizen of Brandon to use his automobile as a quick means of moving from building site to building site. His vehicle was a handsome eighteen horsepower touring car, the famous Haynes-Apperson machine built in Kokomo, Indiana. It was finished in maroon and was equipped with the latest accessories known in 1905. Mr. Elliot is credited with having organized the Brandon Auto Club.
