abandoned carberry house

so, on the way to spruce woods provincial park today, we stopped to see that old house that's abandoned between Mid plains and Mccains just outside of Carberry. i was totally amazed at how beautifull that house must have been before it was left vacant(is still beautifull the way it stands now). i am wondering if anyone knows the history of the house? when it was built, why it's vacant now? that kind of stuff. if you have any info, kindly share, i'm mostly just curious. thanks
