What happened to Brandon's Heritage?

during the 1970's and early 1980's a group called the parkland Bottle Collector Club was formed. The Purpose of the club was to preserve the history that was buried in the old Brandon disposial grounds (Just over the 1st street brudge). The Club faded away by the mid 1980's
The mandate of the club was partly to preserve Brandon's heritage, and to turn over anything that was of historical intrest. The Club did publish newsletters.
The City of Brandon did lease the land to the club where excavations took place.
