December 24, 1925 – Winnie-the-Pooh appears in print

The London Evening News published a short Christmas story by writer A. A. Milne, and illustrated by J. H. Dowd.
Among its characters was a bear named Winnie-the-Pooh, often shortened to Pooh Bear, or simply Pooh, and once referred to as Edward Bear.
In 1926 the first collection of stories were published in the book ‘Winnie-the-Pooh, followed in 1928 ‘The House on Pooh Corner’.
In 1932 was the first time Pooh and friends were printed in colour on an RCA Victor picture record.
