Does anyone know what years Wilson's Stationery was situated on Rosser avenue in Brandon ?

Those two decades for sure, but sorry can't be more exact.

They were in the Towne centre?

I am thinking early eighties?

I know for sure they were in the Towne Centre in early/mid 80's. I'm not sure where they were before that time or how long they were there till though.

That's an awesome photo. I remember Ricki's in that area but I don't remember Wilson's there. I believe that is a view looking east making Wilson's on the south side of rosser.

Yep, Wilson's was on the South side of Rosser. I'm just trying to get some info after having a conversation about a few stores in downtown Brandon. Thanks everyone for your input.

looking east. Building on the right is the Bank of Montreal at 10th and Rosser. Looks like Willson was in 934 or 932 Rosser. Picture looks like early 60s - when was Rosser two way?

I am trying to get my bearings on this photo. If Willson's was on the north side of Rosser, then the photo is looking to the west. I just don't recall Rosser being two way traffic.  
 
Also thinking that this was a privately owned business due to the spelling of the name "Willson" with two "l's".  
 
Do you recall what the cross street would be?

What a wonderful trip down memory lane, even if I am a bit too young to remember everything

was a national chain. Owned by Federal Industries (at least, in the 80s).

I am late to this party, but I looked through some Henderson Directories and Willson Stationary showed up first in 1921 at 830 Rosser Avenue and then in later editions of the directory at 934 Rosser Avenue. I remember it at 934 Rosser when I started Grade One in 1961 and my mom took me there to get my school supplies. I believe it was at this location until at least 1980. 934 Rosser is the first building on the east side of the back alley between 9th and 10th street on the south side of Rosser Avenue.

The last location of Willson's was 918 Rosser Avenue which is the current address for Cristall Opticians. 934 Rosser is the building second east from 10th street on the south side of Rosser - beside what used to be the Bank of Montreal on southeast corner of 10th and Rosser. In 1961, Willson's was located at 918 Rosser.

That picture is a very very nice catch.  
 
Obviously looking East, the shadows and pedestrian traffic indicate a late afternoon picture, looking east. The Bank of Montreal on the corner clinches it.  
 
Can someone find out when Brandon went to one-way streets? That would help date the picture. But I don't see anything that makes me think that the image is from any later than the late 50's.  
 
Willson's: I certainly don't remember it being on the South side of Rosser. But I'm pretty sure that for a time in the early 80's it was located on the North side of Rosser across from the Gallery. I had a business downtown at the time, and often frequented Willson's Rosser location and was particularly happy when they relocated to the Gallery which was closer to my own location. Also spent many hours and dollars at Christies, but that's another story.  
 
I might be wrong, but doing business at Willson's on the North side of Rosser before they moved into Gallery surely does feel right.

are to pictures of different locations. The first link is for 934 Rosser, but the closer view of the front is of a building with red brick, and 934 Rosser is yellow. I think the red brick building is gone, as nothing on Streetview matches it now.

The red brick building was probably 830 Rosser Avenue, home to Willson's between 1921 and 1931. It was torn down - not sure when but it is where the Towne Centre is now located.
