I have lived in the Brandon area for over 7 years and have found the intersection on 8th street heading toward the town center mall quite frustating. I would love to see a stop light there permantly. The two way stop is just rediculous as there are parked cars on both crossing roads that make the visibility very dim.  
I also think that out of respect for the funeral home, the church, and the Ymca, that 8th street should be properly paved and have the correct amount of safety lights . I have witnessed cars sliding in the snow and ice trying not to get hit by an oncoming vehicle because they could not see it coming due to the over abundance of parked cars. I see pedestrians trying to cross the road and cars nearly hitting them . I find this road such a busy road and also such an important road. It takes you to the town center mall, which many seniors go to for their eye care etc. I would be interested to see if anyone else shares the same concerns as I do.
