Patmore and Mountain Ash problems

So we have a beautiful Patmore Ash in our yard and just discovered that on one main branch, the leaves are curling and dying off. Any ideas what may be happening?
Also, we just discovered two of our Mountain Ash have branches where the leaves have been eaten, leaving the vein and berries. I don't see any worms or cobwebs anywhere on either trees. Any ideas?
