Yep! What a great question! The kids wanted salad and so went out & picked some today. Make sure you pick the young leaves (in a spray free & dog free area) and rinse them off as you would any salad green. I think that I would personally avoid boulevards. We are in the country so it is easier to find "clean" dandelions.
The older leaves are bitter, which most people aren't fond of, but bitter greens are really good for your digestive tract.
