Which is your favourite go to ham to buy on Thanksgiving? I have tried a few brands with mixed results and had a really good Cooks ham last year but they seemed to be sold out. Do you prefer the butt or the shank? I don’t care for the spiral type.

I really like the homemade hams from The Tendercuts. You can get bone-in or boneless and football hams (small size) and aren't overly salty. They even have cottage hams (unsmoked) if you prefer. They also have ham hocks which are awesome in soup!

I never buy store hams anymore. Too salty and some have an odd taste. Tender it hams are always good
