If you enjoy authentic Mexican food, you must try Mariachi restaurant located beside Tim Hortons on the corner of First and Richmond. We had a great meal with frozen strawberry Margaritas.

We ate there a while back and the food was very good. For dessert he churros were the best I have ever had. We found the overall price for the meal a little high however. And the one negative for us was that there was an extremely strong fragrance in the restaurant that lingered in our noses for an hour after we left.

Sorry you had some negativity. I think prices are in line with the cost of everything now. Food is great.

The Mexican food and happy atmosphere was enjoyable a while back. Good service as well. I look for social media daily lunch & dinner specials or incentives like some other local restaurants get creative with, but it was a fun place to go to. Prices seem to be on par with others (visit other competitors) but daily specials and photos describing the special of the day help decide if we are looking for lunch or dinner places to go. Food is really good and freshly made.

I have been there a few times and love listening to the dude singing Mariachi songs. He's really good.  
 
My only gripe is the lack of bevvie choices. I don't like beer or tequila and would have loved something else. I know there is vodka in Mexico. I have been there and drank several. Mariachi's should have more options.
