New Idea for feeding the homeless

This is just a thought i had and wanted to see what people think. I am NOT being a smart ass and if i offend anyone i am sorry. My idea is came from something i heard on the radio about stray animals. In other countries around the world they eat the smaller animals we concider strictly pets. If people can get past the stigma of cats and dogs as soully pets then we could take advantage of a viable meat scource. Plus this would eliminate the strays on our streets that people consider a problem.
If you have any thoughts let me know. even if you want to tell me off on behalf of your family pet go ahead. Please keep in mind that i also have a small dog that is part of our family.
