i agree that a new place might be busy as everyone trys the place out, if its good the people will go back, as far as weather the feedback is from a vocal minority or a real issue that would play a factor in their business i would think a good owner would also consider other factors, one is how many come back, another is if the menu items eaten increase or decrease, not only on their own but when paired with other items. if a menu item is decreasing then the owner would put more weight in the feedback and start watching peoples reaction to that item as well as what they say to each other as not everyone will say, same thing applies if the item is starting to increase in sales, is it because the other items are sitting and thats all that is edible, or is the faces on the customers enjoying that item, anyway you get the drift, deciding what is right for the customers is more then just listening to vocal feedback but feedback is an important part of the equation
