Good morning,  
 
We are relatively new to Brandon, and we have some friends from Shilo that told us that last year, there was a day where restaurants had a bunch of interesting international dishes all around Brandon, you went as a group and there were also activities, like the fire station was set up as the Chinese exhibit, food and culture essentially mixed into one!  
 
Anyone have any idea what this is called and if it may be returning this year?

It isn't quite like you described, but the Winter Festival is a 3-day celebration of food, music, dance, and culture at various pavilions around the city. It's usually the first weekend of February.
