On some cooking site these are the newest greatest thing.  
So my question is what's the difference between the pressure cooker or this instance pot that can cook everything from porridge to rice etc.  
Do you have one (instance pot) ?  
I am a little nervous with the pressure cooker!!!!!!!

I have had one for several months and just bought a second one. My first is the 6 qt Duo but,as I have not yet used the low pressure or yogurt settings, I got the Lux as my 2nd pot.  
 
These things are great. I cook potatoes in it all the time. They cook in 13 minutes after the pot gets to pressure. No checking them, no boil-overs. It goes to a keep warm temp after cook time is up. Also great for hard boiled eggs. Pulled pork in less than an hour. Veggies are quick and taste better than those cooked by other means.  
 
Don''t worry about the pressure...they have a number of safety features. Just read the manual, make sure you use the recommended amount of liquid.
