Do you think Brandon will support this? Authentic Mexican food and  
The real Mexican environment?  
 
Maybe a Mexican buffete ?  
 
What are your thoughts.....

As long as there is variety of equal meats and veggies and the food tastes good.. then yes I do not see why not.  
But getting the word out there is the key.

There was an authentic Mexican restaurant in the past, owned and run by a woman from Mexico. Was downtown, but I can't recall exact location (was in a hotel first, then moved to a different location). Food was delicious, but couldn't make a go of it.

The idea is to have a menu of more than 30 items, always fresh and with the tasted real México, with the traditional drinks, and a price range of an average $20-22 per person for a  
Full meal, also lunch specials and weekends specials.  
 
Just need to know what Brandon people think, what the people wants...  
 
Please give us any kind of feedback ... all is much appreciated

Is key. I don't suggest downtown. For me personally I never think to go down there. I forget what it has to offer.

Half the people I knew thought it was gross, but I didn't care. I remembered showing up hours early for a Bomber or Jets game and filling up at the Chi Chi's at Polo Park Mall before the games. ...Good times. The only drawback was having to stop at Portage on the way back for a explosive bathroom break. LOL ...An accumulation of Beer and spicy meat grease always had a six hour consequence. But, we did it every time. ...Never learned anything from the experience before, but to always stop at the gas station before passing the last one at the 1 & 16 intersection or your visiting the bush with a box of tissues. Like I said... Good times.  
 
Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Authentic food, homemade salsa, and Guac. Count me in. We love to support new business, restaurants are a hard go, but we would definetly go.

Yes! Have fahitas with corn tortillas, nobody uses corn tortillas around here!  
 
Make sure you advertise, I remember hearing about the other Mexican restaurant for the first time after they had closed and a good location, when we come to Brandon we don't usually head downtown.

Brandon is rife with buffets. Quality of food is always diminished in a buffet. I would stay away from that. As for on the menu fresh is key. Home made tortillas, mole sauce and salsas would be great. Love tamales and of course tacos, enchiladas burritos ect. Best of luck.

Hi everyone, thanks for you're feedback, of course the corn tortillas will be the number one item in the menu, as well as home made salsas, guacamole, tacos, enchiladas, tortas ( Mexican subs)and much more....  
 
As for location we are working on that, looking for the best option.  
 
As for prices goes will be around $15 to $25 per person for a full meal, also for drinks options will be margaritas , micheladas, mojitos and of course very cold Mexican beers.

Would you have vegetarian options, I always check the menus for good vegetarian options? Would a separate grill be used for vegetarian food, as not to contaminate with animal grease?  
love tortilla soup, chips with quac, salsa and some of that other hot dips.

Yes, vegetarian, guten free items will be available as well !!

One thing that I''ve never seen on a canadian-Mexican menu is Floutas and I have no idea why. Admittedly it seems like most people don''t know what they are, but that needs to be changed.  
 
A few years ago I'd never had Floutas. But I was in Florida and everyone wanted Mexican. The waiter suggested the floutas and it was hands down the tastiest Mexican food I''d ever had. It was a pretty filling appetizer with very complex flavour combination. The dipping sauce was sweet, with just a bit of kick.  
 
Everytime I've done Mexican since, I've looked for Floutas on the menu and I never see them. It's so disappointing.  
 
I did order them once last year when I was in Minnesota, but they were a really bland version.  
 
If you put good Floutas on the menu, I promise I'll be a regular.
