Does anyone know if cauliflower rice is sold anywhere in Brandon?

Cauliflower rice is cooked cauliflower that is then chopped real fine in a food processor.

Not sure you can actually buy "cauliflower rice", I just make my own at home:
Cut up cauliflower, toss with some oil and parmasean, bake for 20 min at 400 degrees. When cooled, blend in processor until cauliflower is rice consistency, and voila! Cauliflower rice

Superstore sometimes sells it. Not cooked though.

A how to video where the cook just grated the cauliflower (uncooked) on a cheese grater and then threw it in the pan with a softened onion and some flavorings - basically cooked it like it was a risoto.

Not sure I would want to buy it - you are not getting all the crap they throw in as preservatives if you make it yourself.

It is very easy to do. I just place a clean tea towel on the counter get a metal box grater. I use the side that you would grate carrots on. Use raw cauliflower and away you go. Lots of great recipes on the web you can make delicious fried rice with this now. Lots of get food

Love cauliflower Rice! I use my food processor, it''s easier and cleaner than a grater. I don''t precook the cauliflower.

Let me add it freezes well too. Shred, bag, freeze. Simple.
