Arbitration

I once refused what they said was their “final” offer. So I asked him...”Now what?” He said I could take them to arbitration... very simple. I pick anybody I want to represent me...anybody. They do the same thing. The two get together and decide a fair price and both you and Autopac have to accept the arbitrators decision. They pay their person for representing them and I arrange a price for me to pay my guy. At the time, Autopac suggested they paid their guy about $200. My guy was good with that too. The final ruling was just over $3,000 above what Autopac said was their final offer. This was about 15 years ago, not sure if it’s still works that way. Of course you want to hire a knowledgeable person to represent you. And, It’s to your advantage to have documentation of recent work performed on your vehicle and show you have done your research into finding similar vehicles for sale that support what you are asking for.
