Just wondering if there are any of them mid engine corvettes in town. I am wanting to see one in person.

Got a kid who's about to start driving. He said during his cycling around town that he has come across two C8's here. One in dark red and one that might be in a more lighter red, kinda going towards "orangy". I asked him if it was the same one but in different light, however, he insists they were two different cars because they had different drivers. I then asked if it had a "D'" on the plate and he said one did and one didn't. So, at least one might have been rolling around here at one time or another. I'm hearing that many are still waiting their orders for the car and some are quickly turning them around to sell again (to profit) and re-ordering another.  
 
Hot car for those that have an disposable income. But when I have my mid-life crisis, I'll turn towards a classic land yacht or a solid muscle car to boost my fragile ego. At least when I'm dead, my family will make money off of my insecurities instead of having to loose money on a depreciating 2020 'vette.

neither of those were C8 mid engine cars. They are both newer C7 cars. GM production at Bowling Green was stopped due to COVID and they had more orders of 2020 cars than they could produce anyway. Some orders got pushed to 2021 production year so unless someone here ordered last fall and was lucky enough to get produced, I don't think there are any here. Dealerships are gouging people and selling them well over MSRP in the USA. I don't think you will see very many here. Doesn't make much sense as there are new/old C7's sitting on lots unsold that are better value anyway.

Resurrection Auto Detailing has done ceramic coating on at least 2. A black and a red. Don't know if they were local vettes or not
