We love ours

Nissan uses CVTs in most of their vehicles and Honda does in the CRV & HRV so if you enjoy driving and don’t want to listen to a droney transmission you may want to steer clear of them

I have a Buick Encore and I’m totally in love with it. Perfect for driving in the winter with AWD. Will be sad when I trade it in soon

We have test driven the Nissan Rogue, the Honda CR-V, & the Toyota Rav-4 before purchasing our last 2 Mazdas. Take the CX-5 for a test drive before making your decision.  
 
Lots of ‘luxury’ features without the ‘luxury’ price tag!

My friend just got a pathfinder and loves it.

Absolute awesome vehicle love it. One drawback is mileage.

Your friend should have waited for the new Pathfinder coming out this summer.  
The Nissan Armada sure rides very well, but no hybrid or 4 cylinder deactivation is beyond my understanding.

Is it for just yourself and another? Have a family and/or large pets? Alot of these new suvs are little more than glorified cars with awd capability. Do you need something for any type of off road use or live in country where ground clearance in winter can pose an issue u til road is plowed?  
 
For a reliable suv for a good mix of space comfort and ride height my choice would absolutely be a Toyota 4runner.
