    Hi all i bought a used vehicle and it only has one key fob and i would like a extra one i ordered a blank one online now i need it programmed to my vehicle who does that in town?

    Just google how to do it for your car. Most fobs involve only 2 buttons to program

    Some keys or fobs can be programmed yourself. Others not. Depends on the make, model and year of the vehicle.

    I have programmed fobs for both my older ford van and truck you only need 1 working fob and the key you can check youtube but not knowing what your vehicle is thats all I can share about the experience. I almost got gouged on it till I did my homework some new ones are cheaper to program at the dealer just check around. If you have keyless then you need it programmed its not a DIY job then
