Can anyone tell me how to properly winterize a 75 HP four stroke Honda outboard motor, before it gets to cold out?

I have a 40hp Honda and I simply drain the carbs every fall.

There is a screw on each carb that you back out until the fuel starts running out. I just leave it for a couple of hours and tighten them up.

I'd suggest checking out YouTube for better instructions but it's easy to do and has worked for me since I got the motor about 8 years ago.

Change the oil, top and bottom. And fog the cylinders. Charge and disconnect your batteries and you will be set for winter. Make sure that you have condioner in your fuel.

draining the water pump and leg?

I know on my outboard jet it's not supposed to hold water but what about a prop drive

Water pump will drain on its oun. I generally change my bottom end oil every second year, but check it for water every year.
